2006
Jaibol Films was founded to partner with Likely Story (Anthony Bregman) and produce the feature film “Sleep Dealer” by Alex Rivera. Immediately afterward, it co-produced “Julia” alongside Bagheera US, Inc, directed by Erick Zonca (awarded best feature film in Cannes for “Dreamlife of Angels”) and starring Oscar-winning actress Tilda Swinton.
2009
JF produces “Acorazado” by Álvaro Curiel in co-production with Fidecine, which won the audience award at the Morelia International Film Festival, as well as Best First Feature and Best Screenplay at the Catalunya Festival.
2015
JF undertakes the production in Latin America (Venezuela, Mexico) for “Point Break” by Alcon Entertainment, directed by Ericson Core.
2020
JF produces the limited series “Somos.” a Netflix production created by James Schamus and directed by Álvaro Curiel de Icaza and Mariana Chenillo.
2023
JF produces the series “We Were Kings” for Netflix, written by Leticia López Margalli and directed by Pepe Valle and Mauricio Lule.
2007-2008
JF partners with Lemon Films to produce “Love, Pain and Vice Versa” by Alfonso Pineda, “Christmas Inc.” by Fernando Rovzar, and “Saving Private Perez” by Beto Gómez.
2011
JF produces the documentary “Querido Carlos” directed by Álvaro Curiel.
2018
JF produces “Ni tuyo, ni mía” written and directed by Sandra Solares, which premiered at the Guadalajara International Film Festival in 2020.
2021
In collaboration with Lemon Films, JF is responsible for the production of the series “Women in Blue” first season, for Apple TV, created by Fernando Rovzar and Pablo Aramendi, directed by Fernando Rovzar, JM Cravioto, Alfonso Pineda, and Carlos Moreno.
2024
JF produces, alongside Bandidos Films, the limited series “The Dead Girls” for Netflix, based on the original novel by Jorge Ibargüengoitia, directed by Luis Estrada.
